Friends, Old and New

Yesterday we had a visit from Valerie, a friend we hadn't seen in a long time since she lives in Indiana now. We also got to make some new friends since she brought along her 2 sons C.J. & Mateo. We had lots of fun playing and being silly.

Lizards, everywhere!

There are baby lizards everywhere! Here is an egg that Eric found in the garden. He loves to watch those babies hatch but he releases them right away because they always look so hungry.

Eric's New Hat

We went to the Asian store today to buy some fortune cookies. While we were shopping Eric found this hat and just had to have it.
He wore it the rest of the day.

New Cousins!

Today was a busy day! Everyone had to be up and fed and showered and dressed up and ready to go by 2p.m. for the wedding. We made it but forgot the camera so we will have to wait and see everyone else's pictures.

A Trip to the Eye Doctor

It was time for everyone to get eye exams since it's been almost 2 years. Isaac went last week and we didn't get any pictures but he did get to pick out some new glasses. It turns out he is nearsighted just like me.

I got my first glasses at 11 also.Eric kept making up things he was seeing just to keep the doctor on her toes. She eventually figured out he was pulling her leg and wanting to see if he could trick her into prescribing glasses for him.

Eric was a bit dissappointed that he has perfect vision.
They both got to wear these cool glasses when leaving to protect their dilated pupils from the sun.

Volcanos and Silly String

We started off building a volvano, but took a break for some

silly string fun before we finished.
